ALTAMURA OP presents “The Green Pizza” at Fruit Logistica 2025

Innovation, territory, and gastronomic culture come together at Fruit Logistica 2025, where ALTAMURA OP will introduce an original and contemporary project designed to showcase the world of baby leaf products through one of the most iconic symbols of Italian cuisine: pizza.

For the 2025 edition of the international trade fair in Berlin, the theme of the ALTAMURA OP stand will be “The Green Pizza”, a concept developed in collaboration with I Borboni Pizzeria, ranked among the top 50 pizzerias in Italy and worldwide by the prestigious 50 Top Pizza guide.

The project aims to highlight the plant-based world through an innovative approach, turning baby leaf products into the stars of a topping designed to combine taste, freshness, and culinary creativity. A pizza that looks toward the future, where agricultural quality, sustainability, and gastronomic research come together in a unique experience.

ALTAMURA OP’s baby leaf products are today among the most dynamic segments within the European fruit and vegetable industry. From Piana del Sele PGI rocket salad to more innovative varieties, the organization continues investing in quality, food safety, and sustainability, offering products increasingly appreciated by international markets and modern gastronomy.

Making the experience even more special will be some outstanding names from the pizza world. During the exhibition, visitors will enjoy show cooking sessions and tastings prepared by master pizzaioli Daniele Ferrara and Valerio Iessi from I Borboni Pizzeria, together with chef ambassadors Geppino Croce and Carmine Pierno from Pizzeria Stratto e Vicceria.

The initiative represents a new way of communicating the fruit and vegetable sector: not only as raw material production, but as culture, creativity, and connection with the final consumer. Through “The Green Pizza,” ALTAMURA OP presents a modern vision of agriculture capable of engaging with international gastronomy and the growing healthy and plant-based food trends.
